USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type C to 2.5G RJ45 Female Ethernet adapter connects your computer, Raspberry Pi 3 or tablet to a router, modem or network switch for network connection. It adds a standard RJ45 port to your Ultrabook, notebook or Macbook for file transferring, video conferencing, gaming, and HD video streaming.

Supports 10M / 100M / 1000M (1G) / 2500M (2.5G) bandwidth, twisted pair crossover detection and auto-correction (auto MDIX). Support WOL (Wake-On-LAN), Full Duplex flow (FDX) (10M/100M/1G/2.5G Rate), auto-negotiation and back pressure routing. Backwards compatible with USB 1.0, USB 1.1, USB bus powered, no external power supply required.

Supported filters: Manageability L2, TCO, L3/L4, IP/Port, and second DA RX (with bit mask). IPv4/IPv6 packet Checksum Offload Engine (COE) for reducing CPU loading, includes IPv4 IP/TCP/UDP/ICMP/IGMP and IPv6 TCP/UDP/ICMPv6 checksum check and generation. TCP Large Send Offload (LSO) v1/v2

The SD-ADA24064 is based on Realtek's RTL8156 controller, which supports 2.5GBASE-T and on down, all over standard Cat5e cabling. The Realtek chip supports such features as 9k Jumbo frame support, auto MDI-X (crossover detection and correction), and IEEE 802.1Q VLAN. Since some of these capabilities require OS support, the dongle comes with drivers for Apple MacOS (10.12 and newer), Microsoft Windows 7/8/10, and Linux (kernel 3.2).
